We had our last CAN tech-buddy session for the year this week, and it was a festive atmosphere over at Sonali Gardens. The volunteers brought chocolates for our users, and were surprised by some chocolate themed gifts from the LinkAge+ staff in return! We wrapped up the year with a Zoom Christmas Quiz for our Sonali Garden's participants, and a games night (hosted on Gather Town) for our volunteers.
Since October we've delivered over 45 hours of one on one tech support for our participants, in partnership with Linkage+ and Sonali Gardens, and also delivered an 8 week coding course for our volunteers. A huge thank you goes out to all the LA+ staff at Sonali Gardens, our brilliant coding teachers who worked so hard to deliver lessons alongside their busy schedules, all our participants at SG for being so kind and fun to work with, and last but not least our amazing volunteers!
